Premier’s Mission to India Will Open Doors for Ontario Businesses
Trade missions help to create jobs and boost economic growth in Ontario. Premier Kathleen Wynne’s first trade mission to India will strengthen existing partnerships and further Ontario’s economic interests in the region.
Purpose of the Mission
India is a priority market for Ontario. The mission will support Ontario companies as they do business in India, while encouraging Indian firms to invest in Ontario. It will generate and secure agreements, contracts and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and offer opportunities to increase foreign direct investment in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT), life sciences, agri-food, automotive and film sectors.
The mission to India is part of Ontario’s Going Global Trade Strategy to increase the province’s international profile and support the government’s plan to grow the economy and create jobs. Read More…
